I've been drawing & painting since early childhood. In the past 20 years, most of my time has been devoted to painting. I've had showings at many galleries and restaurants, including Smithtown, Long Island, NY, Walker Valley, NY, and Pine Bush, NY. In Florida, my work has shown at the Hibel Gallery in Jupiter. I have also shown at various galleries in Juno Beach, South Palm Beach, Stuart, and Tequesta. Currently, I am a resident artist with space at Art on Park.
I paint using oil on canvas and most of my subjects are taken from photos and my imagination. I enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes, especially skies, clouds, and breaking waves. What really grabs my attention is the aged look that worn-down buildings give off. I think they have a lot of charm and drama. I try to capture my subjects using strong tones, vibrant colors, and deep shadows.
Ultimately, in my own way, I paint what I feel and hope you will enjoy what I try to capture on canvas.
